You know folks, I got this web site to try and send information on what is going on whith the ongoing practice of raping the farmland. I have put a lot of stuff on this site, partly for fun because I know that some people would argue that 2+2=4. Therefore, because so much is going on, unreported, I have refrained from putting the events (meetings) that continue to happen as they go unreported by the local news and I have been waiting to see if indeed anybody sees this site. So if you happen to see this and give a damn, I would appreciate a response. (For example, this morning I attended a meeting in which the city is going to allow building on farmland whith the excuse of paying a "fee" to supposedly to "buy/ set aside", (easement), other equal, (what), land in the S.J. Well folks, if you live in Stockton (San Joaquin Valley) you may be interested in that the city council will vote on rather to adopt the "Agricultural Mitigation Fee"
program at their next meeting on the 30th of January. The "plan" is to charge builders, (developers), money in order to supposedly buy equal farmland in the
same valley. It is just an excuse to open the door and let the money hungry big cooperation's Company's to be able to make money whith no regard to the
consequences. Well, I did my best to protest, however, the local yokels (city council), "rubber stamped" it through. I (we) have one more chance, that being the
future "General Plan" which, unless something dramatically happens, it looks like the San Joaquin Valley is doomed.
